A Tribute to Spiritual Excellence is a book about the life and ministry of Rev. and Mrs. J.R. Goodwin and contains some of the events which demonstrated God's grace being poured out in their unusual ministry. A major emphasis in the Goodwin's teaching about the Trinity had to do with the gifts and the potentially functional role of the Holy Spirit in one's life. Not only was the possible role of the Holy Spirit in one's life taught abstractly, it was vividly demonstrated in the Goodwin’s personal lives and ministry.
God is looking for believers to accept by faith those things He has for each of us. Maybe some of us can use this book as a paradigm and perhaps we too will receive an unusual manifestation of God's intervening hand in our lives.
